A technical visit was organized for second-year students as part of Career Week activities by the faculty members of the Mechanical Program of the Department of Machinery and Metal Technologies at Akdağmadeni Vocational School.

The visit, held on September 15, 2026, was attended by second-year students of the Mechanical Program, along with Assoc. Prof. Hakan YURTKURAN, Assoc. Prof. Güven DEMİRTAŞ, and Lecturer Birol YAZARLI.

As part of the technical visit, the students visited Arı Torna, Kaya Metal, and Kardeşler Torna, which operate in the Akdağmadeni Industrial Area. The students had the opportunity to observe the manufacturing processes carried out at these companies and examine the machinery and equipment used in production on site.

The activity aimed to enable students to observe the practical applications of the knowledge acquired in theoretical courses, become more familiar with the manufacturing industry, and contribute to their professional development. The visit was carried out successfully and provided students with an opportunity to increase their awareness of the industry and professional working environment.
